Fish Siesta by mcmanaman

I liked this but I think it needs to be cooked down and reduced, like a sauce, to highten its flavour.

There's loads of good stuff in it, but it's a bit watery. What it needs is less volume, so that the individual flavours can become more pronounced.

I reckon it'd be possible to boil it down by half.

What does anyone else reckon?

Wow

Wow. Does anyone post here anymore?

I've been playing around on the random story page and stumbled across frank_little, he only has 7/8 stories posted, and they are nothing more than snippets, but they are very entertaining reads. Would be nice to see him post up more.

James Woods.

Hey all you film buffs out there, and I know there are quite a few on this site. I'm trying to recall a Film with James Woods as a sleezy (James Woods playing sleezy? Never!) boxing promoter who trains a black forty year old ex-boxer back into shape, to put him in the ring as a - um - 'ringer' to win a huge bet. It's about 15 or 20 years old. My girl friend and I couldn't get into the film we wanted to see and had to opt for this one.

Story worth reading

I recommend the book Shiloh (not the one about the dog) by Dusty Rhodes.

Jude's recent writing

This woman is so out front, brave and honest. It takes the breath away.

I don't know how you have the energy to write at such a time - but I am very glad that you did.
