They're up - what do you think of them?

That's where I spent my evening, in the company of friends, at what may well be the last concert I shall ever attend by two people whose lives and careers I have followed since the release of their first hit record almost fifty years ago.

The Everly Brothers have been my favourite harmony singers all my life. Their influence is staggering, being the act that both Simon & Garfunkel and The Beatles tried (and failed miserably) to emulate. Obviously both those later acts developed their own styles but they also both admit the Everlys were major influences on their work.

So he's finally been sent off..permanently!

I can't feel sorry for him, after all he had twice as many livers as the rest of us and couldn't resist pickling both of 'em.

It IS very sad though, all that talent so wantonly squandered and all for booze and women.

I've been off work for a week and have become addicted to Jeremy Kyle's morning chat show. Tricia was always my favourite before now, but Kyle really gets in their face and tells it like it is.

"Come on, I want to see the fire in your eyes! Why should I believe you?"

"Sir, you are a disgrace! Take a look at yourself. How can you look after a baby when you can't even look after yourself?"

But for the last week I've been pondering a question. How come every single one of the "guests", without exception, dresses as though they are trailer trash?

some time ago i asked for advice on here about agents as mine had lost my latest manuscript and also failed to deliver any constructive advice on the first book but had instead touted it in a rough form ... no surprise then when it didnt sell ...

i was advised here to bin her off and get someone else ... i think maybe rokkitnite said ... you have to have someone who loves your work ...
