Your poem covers brilliantly the things that this bird brings to our lives. I only wish I could fly away in winter as he does. I love the skylarks' 'not staying here - see you when it's warmer' approach to life.

Animals are wonderful things to have around the house but sadly, unless they're a giant tortoise or a blue whale, they don't stay as long as we do. The memories stay for ever though.

I'm surprised that nobody is surprised at Israel's brutal approach. Its ability to be brutal has increased year on year since the creation of the Israeli State in 1948, and its government and military forces have made no attempt to hide this....

I imagine you sitting alone on a rock on a deserted seashore as you write this. There's nothing there except the nature that your words describe so beautifully.
