The Hidden Door The steps would creak every time you would go down the stairs. The wooden railings have become rigid and rough. The light bulbs have not been changed for months, dust and spider webs have collected on the corners of the walls and night creatures have inhabited my basement. It's one place where I have neglected to go ever since I've moved here.
