Nottingham Reading

Our next ABCTales reading night is bound for Nottingham! Do join us on Saturday 5th September at 7pm, The Cross Keys, 15 Byard Lane, Nottingham, NG1 2GJ for prose and poetry in a splendid city. It’s a vibrant reading line up, including Blackjack Davey, Johnshade, Philip Sidney, airy fairy, Bear, Scratch, London Calling, Luigi Pagano, Denzella, Lisa H. If you’d like to read, there are still a couple of slots, so drop me an email as soon as possible at: ray@abctales.com.  Entry is £5 (£3 concessions) and readers get in for free. All proceeds go to the charity, The Railway Children.  It promises to be an evening full of literary treats and laughter, so book it in your social diary now and bring some friends.

Can’t wait to see you in the autumn!

Best Wishes,

Vera.

What a line up!

I hope to meet as many of you as possible in Nottingham on the 5th. It's a great line-up and deserves your support. Do come along - these are great nights!

yes  They certainly are!  I'll be there barring unforeseen circumstances.  If there's still a reading spot pencil me in Vera.

I've got you down, Scratch. See you all soon. Can't wait.

I'll be there. Hopefully there is still a reading spot  available. Looking forward to seeing old and new faces.

Yes, Luigi, great you can make it. Think that's the last spot!

Booked and looking forward to it!

Put the link to the venue up or the post code please, Vera.

I've updated it, Scratch, thanks.

Nice one.

HI Vera,

Looking forward to meeting  everybody.

Will there be a microphone? It would be nice if someone could

video it and post it to  ABC then it might convince those that hang back that it's a great night.

Moya

Hi Moya, were you wanting to video the event?

I would love to and I do have a camera, but I'm  not familiar with it.  It was my daughter's but I have no instructions so not much use at the moment but once wedding over then she will have time to show me.

Will there be a microphone?.

Moya

Yes, mic more important than a camera.

Yes, there will be a microphone.

Can you ping me a hotel recommendation to FB or my email please, vera - I you have one of course.  Preferably within stagger-distance...
