The East End Butcher Boy
A year ago I finished writing my book ( Butcher Boy). I serialised it on Abc and it had a good following. It was a good story but I have to admit that the writing was crap. It's taken me a year to completely re-write and edit it to death. Literary Agents were interested but said it was far too short.
How would I know I'd never written a book before?
They was right, of course, it was only 27,000 words. No more than a long story. So I wrote another 20,000 words.
Tony Cook put me in touch with a young man called Matthew Marland who was a great help in the editing process. After all this the Literary Agents decided that it wasn't for them.
I then realised that there were a number of books already out there with the same title. So I changed it to The East London Butcher Boy.
So I went down the self publish route, and now, at last it's out there!
It's available on Kindle now and from today paperback orders are being taken and should be out in a few days.
Heres the link.
