The omens are not good

What concerns me is the various accounts of this race - held just once before, suggest that there may be a couple of mountains in Surrey I was not previously aware of and this race will take me up and down both of them. Anyway I wanted to let you know that whilst you are tucking into your coffees and your bacon butties tomorrow my knees will be doing the watoosie.

The Mole Valley, St. Martha's Mount-- all those trees and rhodedendrons and lovely chalk. If you're near Box Hill you might pick some magic mushrooms. They should be up now. 'I pay you top dollar...'
