I read this for the first time, a few days ago...it's bloody perfect. A complete snapshot, bringing alive the words, its everything that a poem ought to be, for my tastes anyway.

I don't knit - my knitting is like rice - it doubles when it boils - I can crochet - but do not .... I enjoyed this poem - especially the last 2 lines about the moisture on the pavement The poem made me feel the heat there
