Begging letter...

Hi guys,

As you probably know (and if you don't you should), UKA is hoping to publish a paperback anthology sometime in April, which'll contain some of the best prose and poetry on the site. The content of said anthology is, as we speak, being nominated and voted upon by the site members themselves. Closing date for nominations is 28th Feb, after which we have a month of voting, bringing us up to the end of March.

Now what I need, desperately, is some kind soul to sort out the cover.

Are there any artists/graphic designers/photographers out there who, for absolutely no fee at all (dosh, alas, is non-existent), can help me out? You'd get a credit, natch :-)

The working (and probably final) title is 'Voices from the Web' and, if the desire so takes you, you can check out the details on http://www.ukauthors.com.

Would be awfully grateful and can grovel most prettily if necessary.

My brother's going into a college to major in graphic design. Not that it would do you any good today. I would be willing to help, but I'd only end up screwing it up seeing that my talent in graphic arts really sucks. Good luck, Andrea. I look forward to having a copy of this book in my hands. ;-,

I do chalk pastel drawings, odd sketches and manga style cartooning and - if I'm in Bucks rather than Norwich - attach graphic arts to them. See www.paranoidjokers.co.uk/hotlegs/stories Would be willing to give it a go if you thought it was worth it.

Manga/Anime is Japanese cartooning - big eyes, spiky hair and the like. Thought you might be interested because it's become symbolic of alternative culture.
