A Hidden Dark

This left me confused to say the least. There was a lot of good stuff in it, some nice imagery, imaginative turns of phrase etc, but just when it got interesting it kept changing channels, which is fine once or even twice, but I just got lost! I think I know what the writer is trying to do as I do it a lot myself, but the reader is left with far more questions than answers. It reads as though it's been cut and pasted from sth much longer, in which case I suspect the fuller version would be an interesting read, but as a collage of images it fails to establish anything.
As I said, though, there was plenty to whet the appetite.
