PABD Service Update | lulu.com authors

We had a number of authors asking us if they could design and artwork their own books from scratch.

Interest has been especially strong from authors already publishing with lulu.com who were looking for a UK presence in order to cut their shipping costs to Europe, but we also had a fair number of requests from UK authors who'd like to design their own books.

So from today PABD, and from next week ABC, self publishers can upload print ready pdf files, giving them total control over the look and feel of their books. More details are available on http://www.pabd.com

The same principle works the other way round of course. If you decide to design your book yourself and publish it with PABD you may use the same pdf file to put it on lulu.com as well, giving you instant US distribution.

The new service is entirely optional and nothing has changed for authors who like us to take care of the entire production process, as we have always done.
