Spack and the Ghazal

If you've not read A Revelatory Ghazal by Spack, do. It's an unusual form and very delicate. Practically invisible in this poem, which is the best way to do formal, I reckon. Killer last line, too.

Thanks BrightEyes - it's nice when a timid mouse of a poem gets noticed. I was singing Bright Eyes today and wishing I could listen to that song off 'digital urn' that goes something like... "I never dreamt of heaven much until they put him in the ground but it's all I'm doing now..." It's lush. Joe
Ah, cannae remember the name of that song, but it's a gorgeous album all round. Bit more like Desaparecidos than BE. I'm better on "Lifted..." and "Fevers and Mirrors". My favourite BrightEyes song will always be "Pullmyhair" though. How was India? K x

"I have a room for life at the Home for the Chronically Groovy."

Just discovered what a Ghazal is from Mr. Fry (Stephen)... splendid job, Spack! :-) * P * :-)
