Well, I think people have a certain addiction to drama that is very hard to shake. This addiction can run through entire families for generations. PX's family is one of these. If there isn't a crisis, something's wrong. It drives me crazy. My fuse is not naturally too long (what with an Aries moon?) and Mr. 5-Air seems to relish seeing just how long one can hang on to an argument; no doubt he finds it 'mentally stimulating'. I find it a drag. I don't mind arguing (and if it's with Missi or RadioMileHigh, I love it!) but I don't live with either of them. Thankfully.

I always thought that Christ was probably a Piscean like Einstein. I don't know if anyone really knows when Christ was born as there is still some arguement over the year let alone the exact date. Interestingly Aries started the year in March and if you count that as the first month it still works and September, October etc are numerically correct

Hayley, I can't imagine a single thing about the tories that I'd find funny.

I suppose the word 'funny' should have been replaced with something more suitably horrific, George. I suppose what I meant was that, there would never be a chance of them getting in if Letwin was in charge. At least I hope there wouldn't.

As i posted recently - I'm getting to the stage where I just want someone kind and comfortable. "I don't want clever conversation, I never want to work that hard, I just want someone to talk to..."

Scholars seem to think nowadays that Jesus was actually an Aries, using the astrological portents of the time.

To be fair I've always preferred deep conversations to clever ones. Someone you know intimately, who you trust and feel completely comfortable with, talking about the meaning of life...

Come on, Howard is the best of all possible leaders for the Torys. Whilst he's leader they are doomed!

Can't say i can see Christ as an Aries unless He has been totally mis-represented. More a god of war than god of love I would have thought.

Intelligence is definitely a must. I've decided the next time around (if there ever is one! I might be too bitter and cynical...) I'm going to do things very differently. Like not get married, for a start.

Yeah, if they had picked Michael Heseltine or Kenneth Clarke as leader they may have had a chance of winning, or at least have a reasonable pool of sitting MPs from which to select another leader. But, as their core active supporters are elderly racist yokels who hate Europe and love killing wildlife, they pander to them and not the electorate at large. So, no, we're NOT thinking what you're thinking! (Labour made the same mistake for year after year in the good old Militant era, but they've learnt at last how to be electable)

Perhaps a Taurus, then? Tho' I'm sure Jesus has been grossly misrepresented over the millennia. His disciples had their own agenda, too, don't forget...

I can't figure out why people actually think that the Conservatives want to be elected. On the one hand people believe that politicians are bright enough to run the country yet on the other hand they believe that the opposition is too stupid to put up a credible alternative to Blair (even with the millstone of Iraq around his neck). Left wing governments can pass right-wing laws because their main opponents are right-wing and secretly agree :) Blair didn't get a lot of his most right-wing stuff through last time so he will get in again to finish the job! If proof were needed look at Howard and convince yourself that anyone could really believe he is the best man for the job - unless they want to lose. Also, consider which party, had they been in power, would have kept us out of the invasion of Iraq - none of them would push come to shove - you know I'm right... [%sig%]

You're all obviously bloody tories. Why else would you turn an anti-tory thread into a discussion on fairytale astrology? Or is it that the tories use astrology to formulate their policies and you just happen to be the think tank?
