site etiquette?

if someone leaves a comment on your poem - what's site etiquette require you to do? if anything.

Whatever you like! If it's one that you like then it's quite nice to acknowledge it - you begin to form a bond with that person and it can lead to being able to crit each other's work constructively. It's really up to you - just as it is in the big wide world with someone you talk to for the first time. You can arrange to see them again, you can indulge in one long conversation and then never meet again or you can cut them short.
