Tunes Or Songs That Get Better Over The Years.

This was erroneously posted on the Noticeboard forum, it was either an ABCtales tic or the 2 bottles of wine I'd consumed.
My favourite tune is 'Green Onions' by Booker T And The MGs. Is there a tune that gets funkier after several decades, more than this one? It really does hit the groin of sensuality, better than anything that I've ever heard. My friends listened to The Shadows I boogied to Booker T & The MGs. Poor them.

I'm with you on that one Peeps. A drumming friend of mine was talking to the drummer of AWB just before their infamous trip to the USA, and he said 'Jeez, he was so technically adroit.' Apparently he'd learnt his skills in marching bands. Just another rock 'n' roll casualty. Oh for those that don't know, AWB were the finest funk band to come from these islands. James Brown (possibly the greatest artist that ever lived) said 'These guys have got it.' There can be no better acclamation.

They're using Green Onions in the latest Nokia ad.

It's just been used on the BBC 1 show. I'm beginning to think this is the greatest tune ever to be laid down on vinyl. And I sold my original?????????????????!!
