It's ok being a serious intellectual when everything is not going seriously wrong? Times like now, laughter is needed very much! Also you imply comedy is easier, not sure about that. There's timing and rhythm like in poetry, only with characters...

So much great stuff in this! Gods of selfies, what an interesting/scary thought. I loved "sky licked shore" too. And "Slapdash wild Spring"! BRILLIANT! And the part with the ledge is strongly nightmarish, then "soft and adrift as Winter snow"...
