Brilliant choice! It is so easy and right that it seems simple, but is so clever with the gentle rhythm, not "dum de dum" at all, but rolling like the hills in your gorgeous photo (that colour, WOW!!!) full of wonderful sound music, like "late...
I cannot imagine your garden, even in Winter, being like a "withered old crone"! Maybe a kind old lady who is always giving out treats to visiting birds and animals and telling her plants to be brave as spring will catch them in sunshine again :...
Introducing Chad is well clever, reminding that, like you say, she is "a school girl", also the feeling of choices and empowerment she gets from her job
love "gulp the here and now" and "loud voices, small talk" and "pool of your imagination", how you make your sounds longer in the second part of the poem, showing it is about taking/giving time to appreciate
that is an interesting response to the IP. If looking back at oneself full of hope, in a difficult present makes now harder to bear, or inspires courage to try for change which will need chance and strength to succeed?
I enjoyed reading this, as all your diary entries, so much more powerful than any film footage I have seen of that time. You must be who Hawkwind wrote for, Jenny

I liked how you put so much

I liked how you put so much in this - photos and paintings, queen and miners, ghosts and children, dust and "waterfalling" voices
