Thankyou so much for your very generous comment Turlough :0) There was a book I read to my son where one of the character's parents became a tree and they would have to visit them in the woods :0) I am very lucky as it is just a few minutes down...
So much sense of dramatic change! I liked the rhymes at the beginning very much, specially how you have "rain" at the end of a line. Then "A bridge of paper/Crossing chasms to the past" is BRILLIANT. And glad you conclude with "rainbows" after...

I am sorry it didn't work out this year. My flowerbed was not so good, either. As Rhiannon says, weather is maybe the cause, though wildflowers do not like to be told what to do I have found :0) So, when they DO flower it is even more special!...
Agree with Jenny, very exciting! Poor Emily though! Really creepy thinking someone you had gone to for help was watching your home on their computer! And the conversation between Thies and Stacy and Brent is great too
I did feel for you, listening to a news program about America the other day. Our lot are pretty grim, too, falling over themselves to say how they want to put off transitioning to renewables, in between updates of forest fires. A heartfelt poem,...
