What a shame you couldn't mark your sapling in some way Jenny. i'm sure it's very big now - silver birches grow fast - and I think the rain is coming on Wednesday and I for one will be going out into my garden when it does! Thank you for another...
It looks as if it's formatted for a poem - how strange! Doesn't detract from the reading at all though Congratulations on your Story of the Week Jean, and keep on writing
What a wonderful piece. You write about your grandmother and uncle with such love (you mentioned her in an earlier piece I think). How nice for her to be surrounded by her family like that A very well deserved set of cherries - congratulations...
