I am a Brummie living in Northampton who loves to write but gets distracted with other things. I enjoy horror/fantasy and anything that provokes original thought.

My literary heroes are Clive Barker, Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe and HP Lovecraft. Everyone should read George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-four .

The last paragraph is ominous and a clear signpost. It doesn't look out of place. I guess you need to decide where you pick up now having made it clear about what comes next. Do you jump close to the events you have signalled or take a slower run...

I have visited Stirling Castle many years ago. It's magnificent. Edward I is most associated with invading Scotland known in his lifetime as "The Hammer of the Scots". I wonder whether shortbread was around in his time? Another entertaining read...
