I too, often find myself in a 'shower of words like cloudburst', refreshsing me after a creative drought.

And the whole of the last verse is me. It's as if I wrote it myself... except I wouldn't have written it...

In Bulgaria, marmalade cats

In Bulgaria, marmalade cats are often called Sharky (Шарки) which means patterns.

We had one with this name but a a result of a terrible incident that I won't describe, he is no longer with us.

A lovely poem with words really that bring the scene to life.

I always find it interesting to read about people's homes and their environs. Perhaps 'through my window' would make a good inspirational point one week, if it hasn't been done...
