I was feeling down about being trapped in the country so I wrote this. It cheered me up. Writing always does.

ONCE

Once I was a child, With everything before me; Then I was an adolescent - Everything bored me; Then I was a young woman, Fertile and ripe; Then I was a mother Believing all the hype.

I look out the window, Tourists aimlessly shambling; There's no walk of purpose, Just shuffling and ambling. They stop and they stare at things, Faces all grumbling;
