As all of the others have been announced on here I felt it would be churlish to deny Sebastian Frank Frazer Skaith the joy of being an instant ABCtaler.
He was born at 07.12 this morning in York Hospital weighing 7 lbs 7 ozs. He's our youngest, Alice's, first. Those of you who have been to the York evenings may well have met her.
All is well after a marathon 55 hour labour - and we're all at Alice and Dave's house in York.
Hurrah for human life!

55 hour labour is an entrance-making statement in itself. I salute Alice for that and send huge congratulations to you all. Very solid names, too.

Thankyou all. He's a lovely little lad (of course) and all is going well - they're all even getting a fair bit of sleep to facilitate recovery.

I was fortunate to meet Alice at York so, Tony, please send huge congratulations to her and all members of family. Fifty five hours doesn't bear thinking about. It's not as if the poor girl could say I've changed my mind.
