Kyree Warner was on the school honor roll with straight A's all the way up to the tenth grade. He was a very respectable and hardworking young man who one day wanted to be a doctor. But in a heartbreaking turn of events, his father was diagnosed with cancer and died approximately one year later. Kyree's mother, Debbie, who was devastated after the loss of her husband, turned to the glass pipe for guidance. Kyree developed a strong hatred for the world, blaming it for destroying his family and quickly began to slip in school. Soon, he dropped out of school completely and turned to the streets in search of a mentor as well as a good source of income. But it wouldn't take long for Kyree to realize that the streets didn't love him like he assumed they did. In a spread of four years Kyree caught two bad cases and received a strike for each of them. Now, being released with two strikes under his belt, Kyree finds himself revived and more mature as a man, yet struggling to make ends meet. With only his loving girlfriend and grimy homeboy on his side, Kyree must figure out a way to stay legit, but also alive on the same merciless, bloody streets that he used to do dirt on. Little does he know, the streets aren't going to let anyone go that easily.
