Poisoned Ivy
A warm tear rolled down my cheek, leaving a trail of wetness behind it. I cried silently for a few moments before my shoulders involuntarily heaved, causing the buzz of the tattoo gun to pause. "Are you alright? Do you need to take a break? I can give you a few minutes if you need it. Mike, the man who was tattooing me, asked me. His voice sounded concerned, so I did the best I could to reassure him. Taking advantage of being able to move my arms freely, without making Mike mess up, I dried my eyes and took a few deep breaths. "No, I'm fine. It's just that, she was my best friend. You know? I said, choking back more tears. "No, I don't know. If you think it'd help, you can tell me. Mike said, as he put his hand on my leg. "It'll help pass the time, too. All You Need
"We can't go on like this. You know it and I know it. If we keep things bottled up like this, something's going to explode. Maddy started as she held Autumn close. "Are you saying we tell our parents? Are you insane? I mean, seriously! They'll have a crucifixion and invite the whole town to watch the lesbians die! Autumn exclaimed. We love each other and our parents love us. Nothing should change that. Autumn started to cry, and Maddy held her as she did so. "You know we have to, Autumn. You know it. The bass matched the beat of my heart, and the music was no longer coming to me, but coming from me. I felt it with every inch of my being and although my ribs were being bruised by the mass of people behind me pushing me against the fence. As the last chord sang through the air, my heart and soul sang with it.
