I hope Archibald didn't carry

I hope Archibald didn't carry the tea trolley back, then put the wheel on when he got there, sort of thing he might do :0) you have put the cliffhanger in the middle for a change. I am trying to think Who is it the detectives are going to find...
My son is often asking where I would most like to go, and I say a Greek island, because of Gerald Durrel. Now because of you, too. Very glad your beautiful poem got Pick of the Week. I am so very sorry Crado has not come back yet
"‘This isn’t the argument though, it’s just me being a husband while my wife drives the car. The argument is planned for later. Do you know where you’re going?’" This is so funny! And I loved his reaction to sheep, too. And the bed. Made me think...
DS Stone seems to be getting more and more independent of his boss, eg his upset at not remembering Archibald's name, you give him space to grow in this calmer episode
looking forward to part 2. This is a wonderful set of characters! I loved (well, that's perhaps not the right word) the detail about the Barbie doll's hair :0)

I didn't know about this, either, Thankyou. You set out the story very well, the idea of scavenging scraps of light in the darkness is beautiful
