I love the richness of your descriptions, there seems such abundance - characters, animals, plants! Maria must be very strong willed and tough to be able to look after so many animals on her own
Wondering if, sensing how hostile Thomas's mother is about the relationship of the two people the dog loves best, has made Blueberry hostile to her? I really liked how you describe her as "lightly Christian" and Christianity meant to be about...
It made me think of the crows being like a catalyst with the storm to make your fairytale memories from childhood so strong they seemed reality, that if you were outside that window you would be in magic
He is like Rango, the feral cat I am feeding :0) That is a wonderful photo! I had not heard of those comic strips. I really like the rhyming in your first part, how it ends with "marmaladey shade" is great :0)
