I found this very readable - liked the gentle humour, the main character. Although it kept my attention to the end, it could really do with being a bit less ponderous, and - i don't know if this is to be continued - would definitely enjoy...

I enjoyed this very much - you have created a strong narrative voice. A couple of suggestions: you could possibly quicken the pace a little, also the ending is a bit weak and finally in the second paragraph I think you need to switch high and low...

Thoroughly agree with the above. A fascinating picture of both modern America, and mental health. I don't know if you plan to develop this further, but if you do, perhaps take it a bit slower, try not to jump from one thing to another
