My stories

Flaring Atmosphere

An eye-straining speck lies helpless on the ocean, like an upturned mirror reflecting the sky's grim exhalations. The grip of the waves never relents and their tight intangible fingers shift

Private sea

Framed white by the window My own upturned ocean, Brightened blue sky, A million square miles Of pure clear emptiness Wrapped in sunlight and cloud, And ungrazed by aeroplanes.

Ode on a knee

A poem to celebrate the uncelebratable, composed by Byron (maybe).

Submerged

Submerged, Face press'd down Bubbles flee Life refugee. Water burns Each nostril Blood screaming Terrors teeming. Future rent Past unseamed Eyes rolling White like knuckles And no more.

The Suit

Here he sits: The BusinessMan, His suit of knife-sharp edges, Each pinstripe a bullet. The shard in his eye, The straining buttons over belly Attest to his success.
