This is not a geep

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/apr/04/irish-farmer-goat-sheep-hyb...

Despite what you may read in all of the papers, a sheep goat hybrid is not called a geep, it's called a sheep goat hybrid.  (Or, according to this guardian article, the Toast of Botswana - never order toast in Botswana)

A geep is a chimera, produced by combing the embroys of a sheep and a goat.

A shoat, by the way, is a baby pig.

A piglet, by the way is a slightly younger baby pig.

A wholfin, by the way, is a whale /dolphin hybrid. Not to be confused with a wolf/dolphin hybrid.

I hope that makes everything clear.

A male and female donkey are a jackass and a jennyass.

Collective animals are good fun, 'an ambush of tigers' , 'a cartload of monkeys' and 'a parliament of owls'; might be wiser than the bunch in Westminster.

My favourite is 'a pandemonium of parrots'smiley

Ah collective nouns for animals, you have to love them - a crash of rhinoceroses, a bloat of hippos, or a business of ferrets

I notice a a maneep in aberdeen.

Whatever it is called it was very cute.

The farmer wasn't too sure about its future, would it go for slaughter or not and if it did what would the meat be called
