Being as it's about books, I thought I'd post my latest blog piece here on ABC Tales…

What is "the art of tea"?
And what does an "odd courgette" look like?

As it did not appear to post, books are also a little less likely to get confiscated if you go to an airport in this day and age.
Unless, perhaps, it's something like "The Idiot's Guide to Being a Suicide Bomber"... pe ps oid What is "the art of tea"? And what does an "odd courgette" look like?

I gather there is more than one case of Craig Murray's book being confiscated at airports.

Wazzat then? pe ps oid What is "the art of tea"? And what does an "odd courgette" look like?

Thank you, Yan... ;) ---------- Maddan... ***raises hands in the shape of a "W"*** - I thought, oddly enough, it might be nice to get a considered response from an actual person rather than a search engine! Ahh well, see above... pe ps oid What is "the art of tea"? And what does an "odd courgette" look like?

...but I love that link and I get so little opportunity to use it. ***raises hands in shape of a "Y", an "M", a "W", an "A", an "M", another "M", and then a final "W"***

Now, now, children! :-)

"- I thought, oddly enough, it might be nice to get a considered response from an actual person rather than a search engine! Ahh well, see above..." A computer didn't write the stuff on the internet. Search engines provide you with links to considered responses from many people all over the world. They're really very useful tools.
But...! Oh never mind... :/ pe ps oid What is "the art of tea"? And what does an "odd courgette" look like?

Books are a passport for me to the ages. When I see oneon display, I think of the many ideas that are ensconced within. I speculate at the source of the title or the development of the plot, and wonder how I will react to story as it unfolds. Libraries, or book stores, are warm and inviting places that entice me, beckoning me with many promised hours of transportation to the far reaches of the globe.I have wandered the mind world over many times and always come away enriched immeasurably by the experience. Maybe the electronic format will one day replace the paper compendium, but it will be a day that I do not long to experience. The tactile feeling, of a book in my hands, is for me the imminent sense of a lauching into the greater beyond. I will hold onto the physical form of a book, as long as my grasp permits. J.X.M
Sadly, in my experience, libraries are not the peaceful haven they used to be... :( The things they contain, however, stubbornly hang on to the "warm and inviting" enticement of which you speak! :) pe ps oid What is "the art of tea"? And what does an "odd courgette" look like?
