My stories

Why me, myself and I?

I: Whatever the path taken to reach an understanding and acceptance of the spirit world, and a belief that there is a purpose to life on Earth, it is a path that enables you to see and have compassion for the struggles of others as they come close. It is possible for the soul to approach, but for the personality to spit nails as it approaches. It is also possible for the soul to recognise truth, but for the personality to stop them ever exploring that truth. It is possible for the soul and the personality to recognise the path they should be on, but for the practical challenges of life to prevent them ever placing a foot on the path towards fulfilment. There are so many valid reasons to avoid the struggle.

Imagination or intuition?

I: It is more complex than that it is accepting the different dimensions in which you are living the material and the spiritual, also represented as the mind and the brain. When you work with the crystals you are working with the mind and connecting to the universal mind. You are discovering things that you and your brain could not possibly know because it is not logic it is intuition, imagination. MYSEF: Why is it not just fantasy then, imagining a feeling or a sense or a reaction within the crystal which after all is just a lump of rock. ME: But it is not just a lump of rock is it. It has a history that can be tracked and identified by scientists

Trust and belief

But it would be a mistake to put the darkness out there and the light within. It is through the overcoming of intolerance within ourselves that any of this can move forward, Your intolerance of failure is as damming to you as the intolerance of belief is damaging to a society, At the end of the day it is the individuals who pay, not the soldiers or the politicians. How could they? Grief first has to be felt individually, and then owned collectively. Not in my name may be the cry, but the reality is that the collective consciousness cannot escape the impact be it emotional, spiritual or material.

Future visioning

ME: I have never thought of feeling proud of myself, I have always thought about being true to myself. But that seems to be an under-rated virtue these days. I: I guess that depends where your boundaries lie. If you believe in the continuation of the soul and in lifetimes of learning. then the over-rated virtues of ambition and wealth might not seem such a worthy accolade when you are reviewing your footprint on the planet.

Changes beckon

I: If you cannot embrace change at this stage in your life then you will not embrace it at all. You have built your own individuality, personality and set of skills with which to earn a living. (Stage 1 of life) You have shared those skills and the fruits of your labours, and your loins with your children. (Stage 2 of life). What are you going to make of stage 3? Are you going to ignore that still small voice of soul and take up an extreme sport! That should take your mind off things? Or are you prepared to follow the path of spiritual discipline and actually make the space for a new way of being to emerge and grow? No one changes because they want to, they change because they have to. You just haven't realised that the imperative for you is as strong as it is for the bereaved and the saddened. ME: I am listening. I am thinking and I want to say 'yes' but somehow the words do not form, there is a block between my brain ' which knows that change is imminent ' and the breath I need to summon up from deep inside my being to bring life to my limbs and sound to the words of agreement, of acknowledgement that something has to give. What is that block? It is the weight of expectations, the weight of success, the harness of responsibility and blind panic. It is that sharp intake of breath when I see a lonely rucksack.
