I love the idea of the tide

I love the idea of the tide being an obsession, and white wave crests being banners of a incoming force
" a series of mighty tumbles
before rising" this really has the momentum of waves, almost feel seasick reading :0) and "a vast...
I thought of you when I heard this story. My dog was a greyhound cros s and I think of all the greyhoundssuffering for research into smoking. The intelligence, telepathy, joy of a dog. Supposedly our best friends. Not to mention primates, our...
I don't know how you and Ewan can write two stories at once! This one is so different to Willow's, as well The dog in your photo looks so friendly,no way anyone could turn him off their sofa :0)
Enjoyed this, you describe the underground so well, the sounds and smells. And the flashbacks, how you unfold your story work really well. and what a cliff hanger!
That's a lovely poem, you made me think of kindness being like an Olympic torch, your Aunty lit it in you and you keep it shining to help your own family. a wonderful meaning of heirloom which I had not thought of
I love your diary entries, Jenny. You may not have had the money but you made your life very rich, and I am so grateful to you for sharing your memories
So exciting! And a real villain in this one! As always Perfidia is wonderful :0) She and Martha are great together. I really liked the address of Incognito, too
That's great your eyes are blinking, makes me feel your body is pushing towards working properly all the time? I suppose your Effie must feel almost a part of you now, and comforting in a way, a tangible help.

I love the idea of going to an animal sanctuary and being adopted by a familiar! That's a story in itself? Oh I hope Perfidia is adopted :0)
