I am a Brummie living in Northampton who loves to write but gets distracted with other things. I enjoy horror/fantasy and anything that provokes original thought.
My literary heroes are Clive Barker, Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe and HP Lovecraft. Everyone should read George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-four .
I have work published by AlienBuddha Press, Loft Books, BlackBough Poems, DarkWinter Literary Magazine and Paragraph Planet.

"A cock-eyed chef's hat
and a tired apron all askew.."
Lends a sense of playfulness to the poem. It sounds like you have had culinary fun with grandchildren who love to pretend cook. Then again, maybe we all do. Enjoyed,,...

I liked the contrast between Gregor and Sam at the start of this chapter. I was wondering whether Gregor had any redeeming features and his affection for Sam hints at some.
The spectral figures show yet more imagination in the ongoing...

Yes, it's enthralling writing sci-fi and including wormholes and imaging spaceships flying around galaxies. There's definitely a futuristic landscape skillfully drawn for the reader. This is one of my favourite genres. I can see in the comments...

What a huge shift from the story line. Back to Obsidian and completely different jeapody. The reader can immediately pick up on the "future" with all the technology and trappings of an advanced world. Anyway, other than that I just wanted to stop...

"I'm a tiny round egg in the Sargasso Sea.." I understand this is one of the wonders of the planet and you document just one of its inhabitants and its epic journey so well, Rhiannon. The Circle of Life in all its glory. Wonderful. Paul
