I am a Brummie living in North Somerset who loves to write but gets distracted with other things. I enjoy horror/fantasy and anything that provokes original thought.

My literary heroes are Clive Barker, Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe and HP Lovecraft.

Everyone should read George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-four .

I have work published by AlienBuddha Press, Loft Books, BlackBough Poems, DarkWinter Literary Magazine and Paragraph Planet.

Beautifully put but I think you are so much more than that, Jenny. A poem that eloquently underlines your love of writing and artfully depicts how many others feel. Paul :)

Yes, 1-1 after extra time and, funnily enough, I can't remember the penalty shoot out score or probably choose to forget. Glad the Muggins clan caught the match even if it did end in disappointment. Onwards to the next tale of Alfred N Muggins...

Ah so this story will run on. This is good. You are building the tension nicely and the weaving in of the family history adds its own tension. Looking forward to more :)

Another lovely vignette, Rhiannon. Marmaladey shade, yes. I have two ginger tom cats and adore them. I enjoyed reading about Hobbes and that's a super pic. Paul
