The Winners are Announced
Congrats in the Red Dress/Park Bench comp go to jennifer and bradene.
For full results and Trevor Dolby's comments go to:
Oh my! I've just got the news, I can't believe it. I've a silly big Grin on my face that I'm sure will remain for days. Thankyou Mr Dolby and you too Tony, indeed everyone concerned. Congratulations to Jennifer for her outstanding story too, in fact congratulations to everyone who took part. *Still Grinning like a loon * Val
Congratulations dear Val, very well done. I look forward to hearing it on the air.

Well done, Bradene! Congratulations on a superb winning poem!
I can't believe I've won something for my prose! This story just flew out of my fingers and felt so easy to write after ages of trying to think of what to write about to include the two phrases - I think it was brewing for a while! I'll definitely be sticking to prose for a while, since 'Unbelievable' has come so easily too - I am really enjoying the change of genre!
Thank you to everyone for their support and good luck wishes, and to Trevor Dolby for picking my story! Thanks also to Tony Cook for sending me the email letting me know and making my day! Grinning away too, might be dancing to Jacko in class this afternoon! Jen x
Come, come Jennifer. You are far too modest. You better believe that your writing talent has been recognised. Many congratulations.

I've just read the winners and runners-up and commented on them individually, but I'd like to say 'congratulations' to you all here too. Terrific stuff!
I also want to say I'm very much looking forward to reading the other entries over the next few days.:-)
I'd like to extend my congratulations to Hilary West and FTSE100 for being mentioned in dispatches.
Jolly good show.
I'm always glad when the winners meet with such recognition - especially from other competitors. Thankyou all for your sincerity and generosity.
Been away for a couple of weeks without computer access, which was part bliss and part torture. Congratulations to both for their well deserved wins. 'Google Earth' stuck out from the pack for me and Jennifer's story is still one I go back and read.
