I'm an Australien sexagenarian who cohabits with my wife and two spoilt cat overlords. I spend my weekdays at a day job to support my other passion - music. I run a record label, produce and perform with an amazing array of talented people.

When I'm not doing gigs or busy in my home studio, I enjoy reading and writing speculative fiction, horror, twisted tales, poetry and lyrics.

What a very fine story indeed. Like others here, I would have loved to have read more about what happened to Frank. But I am a fan of short stories and this is has a tidy finish with just the right amount of intrigue to leave the reader wondering...

I love bird life but definitely the avian kind. However, I'm known to be a bit of a night owl, so this resonates. Nice one :)

There is nothing quite as

Posted on Tue, 05 Sep 2023

There is nothing quite as pleasant as birdsong, except if you live where I do in Australia. We have birds called Currawongs and their songs, while numerous and interesting, are the very opposite of 'burbling', 'trilling' or 'whistling'. Their...

I really like how this story slowly reveals itself, almost like the tide going out and revealing the unseen ocean floor. Very good indeed.Read full comment

Ewan, I really liked this

Ewan, I really liked this too. As for using the text tags, it is a bit hard to show an example. To use HTML tags such as em, strong, etc., put the tag in these brackets <> at the start of the text and the end of the text making sure you...Read full comment
