I had to read this one or twice - it's very imaginative!
beautiful description - that evening walk sounds like one of those small things that bring a disproportionate joy. I love how we're lucky enough to get little glimpses into where people live!
if you're looking for suggestions Harry - this is set in the USA right? If so, kettles aren't really a thing there - even more so in the past (am guessing because of the typewriter). Also 'nip, sip' etc - pull instead of nip?
What a lovely idea for the IP Rhiannon! I especially like this one, but the others are great too. This would make a lovely collection to read aloud to very small children. Do you know someone who could illustrate them?
Another great little nature poem and photo. Have you ever thought of making a small collection of these? Following on from your letter to your father, it would be a lovely legacy. Who knows what those views will look like in 100 years from now
Again, I'm so pleased you enjoyed having a go at this challenge (see my comment on Rhiannon's piece) - I hope you do have another attempt. On a personal note - I remember you saying how your boss died very suddenly, which is sad etc but the fall...

Some vivid description in this thought provoking piece. Is it part of something longer?
