Gothic Haiku

darkness dwells within hides me in its black cover i long for my death

Love Reborn

Someone else gave birth to me, but someone else gave me life. God chose them just for me. . a lonely husband and wife. They had longed for a baby, but there just could not be.

Mother

This is a chofu; similar to haiku. Its syllable count is 527527. Mother You are my mother. Your love was given unselfishly when I needed you to care. I will always love you, Mom.

King of the Castle

His name is Danny boy; but I call him, "His Highness." He came into our lives last year, an Orange and white cat. A victim of abuse, he hid in the bushes for three days, until he would venture

The Prettiest Mother in the World

I wrote this is 1992, when my mother was going under surgery for cancer. She is now 88 and cancer-free.
