My stories

Stay the course

You gave up your desires for a reward that few have bitten from before faith is how far you will go in the face of fear

Morning's tired feet

Blue sky at morning's first breath first dark then light until at last golden rays banish again the petrified night The slumbering awake from cold retreat opening weary eyes

We shone upon the wind

When we spoke fair words of love in meadows where birds flew above we never dreamed it would be gone like petals blown upon the wind Words we spoke of promise and trust

Just the other day

My country poem

Be not a soggy cigarette

Be all that you can be so I was told, long ago be not a soggy cigarette in a flame gone cold Keep warm within your package stoke the fire, light the lamp snuggle up within your wrapper
