There's a rainbow in my soul
~
And the rainbow never ends
Our love is alive, burning within Our love is a flame, living within, From a touch to desire From a kiss to a fire, Our love is a sigh crying inside, Our love is a whisper, pleading inside.
Love calls the Force, The Love that rocks the cradle, The Force hammers the rocks, The Force that breaks the waves. The Force drives the Pulse, The Pulse that beats the Rhythm,
Your children are not your children They are sons and daughters Longing for life Longing for itself. They come through you But not from you, They are with you Yet belong not to you.
rachel and ruth tamar and tempest thunder and tenacity six daughters six sisters but sweeter the day and sweeter the dream nearer the day and nearer the sea sweet oh as sweet
Yes Richard, "somewhere they pause and remember" "generations of childhood". What would a porch be without a rocking chair? A witness from the cradle to the grave, a trusted friend.
I know some good ones too, a cowboy one, "played five aces, now playing harp". Here is one for an unknown british soldier simply, "he didn't keep his head down".
Not quite so funny yes it can actually really be very traumatic to board a train especially when you're a kid and on your own. Or a bus maybe and worst honestly is to board an airplane- overseas. Once I got so terrified on a bus in primary school...

Indeed. They say one woman can bring a kingdom to it's knees. The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.
A very good poem and it does make sense but I have to admit I don't understand all of it.
