Inspiration point (IP)
This Week's Inspiration Point is to take any proverb and let it inspire a story or poem. Expecting cats killed by curiosity, chickens that have been counted prior to hatching, hands that feed you getting bitten, stitches in time and hot irons striking. I suspect it may have been an Inspiration Point in the past, but repetition is the mother of skill, as they say.

Blazing tulips

WHY ROYAL?
WHY ROYAL? Why honour Wootten Bassett with a royal accolade? Did some monarch in the past enjoy its Grand Parade? This cannot be, for it has none, yet people flocked from everywhere
