It was clear how Lensky felt about her. Olga basked in that adoration with as little consciousness of the process as an Orchid’s awareness of photosynthesis.

Lessons

Relief and satisfaction washed over her like a warm wave. Followed by rising pleasure. The latter’s intensity like a dormant energy saver bulb just turned on, dull at first, then almost blinding.
