Ian

Hi, I'm Ian living in Reading (Berkshire).   I've only recently started writing poetry, so I'm looking for any lessons to help me on my way.   I've recently tried a local poetry slam and really enjoyed the relaxed,  open minded, non-judgemental atmosphere.  My poetry helps me collect my thoughts and challenge my beliefs.  Enjoying other's poetry helps me see other perspectives on this world.

Thank you,

I Forgot I Loved You

This poem was created during a workshop with the wonderful Hollie McNish a month ago. She has provided a stack of inspiration to me - through the workshop, through her poetry and through her performances. Thanks.

Beautifully written.  Opening

Beautifully written.  Opening paragraph really drew me in - especially since it mislead me slightly ;)   I also got my tell tale tingles down my spine half way through the poem, which I think means I liked the poem.  Thanks for sharing it.
