As long as I can remember I have always written. Mainly to make sense of the world ,and in particular the people in it. A few years ago, due to a phyisical injury I could not, as a temporary measure follow my sporting interests. So out of a wish to interact with other humans, and keep my brain ticking over, I joined a local writers group here in Galway, in the West of Ireland, where I am currently living.
It is run by Kevin Higgins, (http://overtheedgeliteraryevents.blogspot.ie/)                     an internationally published poet and writer. I also took some courses with his wife, also an internationally published poet and writer, Susan Millar Du Mars. Both are very supportive of new and emerging writers.
It was at Kevin's suggestion that I started a blog, and began to post some of my writing
for anybody who may be interested to view it.
