(on "live and let die," the hugely popular song by Paul McCartney) Tell me, do you REALLY want to "live and let die?" Because, see, I'm the one who dies I'm the junkie, the gay guy,

she should have come yesterday

Way back then, it all made sense; my heart was sure and not on the fence The poem it rhymed the song was in tune, and the sun it smiled on early June Now it's gone and I don't know why;

enter the ice giants

setting: a small city in a forgotten corner of the imperial U.S.A. ____________________________ a little bleak on a summer day; now the wind is cold and the sky quite gray

the woman is my medicine

I don't know why: it doesn't matter. But it's no lie or pretense clever I love the girl, and need her here... it calms my mind and soothes my fear It's not the things she has to say
