Sharp prose, vivid dialogue and a sweet story. Liked the attention to detail /touches throughout, key workers, beanie hats, fingerless gloves, pulled me in. Great work!

Very tender and a hit on the senses - economical but clinical word choice throughout - dry, looping, yellowing, scrambling... 'Your shoes still turn inwards - ' is beautiful observation projected.

Loved.the control of words and use of sound throughout, particularly s sounds pulling me into the environment... some lovely compounds too, cloud-bursting weirs, pressure-whoosh, excellent work :)

this was really effective. people work in patterns huh? so it's easy to fall into patterns and feed off/mirror the people around you emotionally. structure was neatly done and brings out the content v well. hope you're well! :)
