thankyou for saying about the plastic starlight. I know what you mean about tinsel regarding the modern stuff - it is a bit um Trumpian, but I LOVE tinsel from about 20 years ago, much finer and sort of crunchy, not the glittering trophy tails...
That first stanza is a great beginning, and you've woven the lyrics into your poem very cleverly. Weirdly never ever get tired of that song, always sends shivers up my spine the first few notes :0)

Treasured greeter is exactly right! I liked how you made robins seem magical, I don't know if it is the sharpness of their gorgeous song but they do seem to cut through the mundane world somehow as if they can fly between planes
Doesn't have to be fantasy fantasy? I know you are top of the world when it comes to anecdotes, real life funny stories, but could you set yourself the challenge of wondering how some of your favourite characters from your encounters...
