Beautifully written and really very moving. I totally understand the fact that everything once owned leaves a trace behind, often impossible to let go of, no matter how small or insignificant it may appear on the outside.

This is a truly magical piece of writing. The imagery is so apt and carries me right there. What a talent you have! So many lines made me sit up and choosing my favourite would be almost impossible, although I particularly enjoyed:

This really hits the spot - poignant and candid and the absorbing identification with nature. A great piece of writing keeps you wide-eyed to the end and mine were just so. Well done on the Cherries!
