I'll have to start reading from Part 1, Jane. But this read well as a stand-alone piece - a good sign. I live in a neighborhood like it and could feel the awkwardness of meeting the new neighbors. Us being the new neaighbors. Well done here.

Wonderful stuff, Turlough. As someone who took to travel late in life - The UK in 2016 at age 62 - I find that after reading this I still feel a spark of wanderlust 10 years later. Really enjoyed this read on a rainy Sunday morning in New York....
